TRAX 2016 - SILVERSTONE
ALL MERCHANDISE AVAILABLE THROUGH STORE!
On the 25th September 2016 TUCKED Automotive headed up to Silverstone to attend TRAX, and what a show this was! We have never been to TRAX before and if you reading this didn’t attend then fear not as we have amazing coverage for you but we 110% recommend going next year!
What TUCKED loved the most about TRAX was the variety of cars that were on display, the amount of club stands that were on show was insane – well done to all of you! Our team members headed up with our good friends Cruise-Herts on their club stand and were joined by a bunch of lovely people, shortly followed by a banging sausage baguette from one of the stalls – very nice!
The atmosphere at the event was great, and despite the weather being very on and off everyone still enjoyed the day and had a huge smile upon leaving the event, we think what made this event so special was the venue – The amount of people going on track in their builds was insane, we spotted a few cars which had very very high performance and also a few sleepers which was nice to see! Not to mention the drifting that was taking place, we will upload a video for you to see these amazing drift sessions which got the crowd going crazy as well as covering Silverstone with a layer of rubber smoke.
We couldn’t get a trade stall in time which was rather upsetting however we will be having trade stalls at all of next year’s shows, but hats off to the guys who were there trading there was a large variety of goods to purchase - The show and shine we feel should have been slightly bigger, however there were some amazing cars as you can see in the slideshow – The winner was the blue BMW which was no surprise as this car was immaculate, but we have to say the engine bay in the Clio was absolutely insane with a massive turbo sticking out of the bonnet – who could say no to this?! One for our JAP fans was the red Supra, now this was absolutely insane the amount of detail which has been put into this build is crazy and the photos really don’t do this car any justice!
So, a few days before the event we stumbled across @1987soarer on Instagram and saw that he was attending TRAX – so it would have been rude not to go get a few photos of this amazing Soarer, this 80’s car is so timeless and just looks the absolute nuts! Unfortunately we didn’t get to manage to speak to the owner, however we messaged him shortly after and who knows... He may be a team rider very soon – check out the photos we got of this below and go give him a follow!
We also couldn’t miss the bright yellow S2000 which you can also see in the slideshow, this car was immaculate and the effort that the owner was putting into cleaning it at every possible opportunity was great to see – someone who is clearly proud of their build. If you like this car you can follow her on Instagram - @l2k_
James Andrew’s Hillman Imp was there too, to our delight – we love this car and its timeless look! Not to mention the colour of the car complimenting all of the panel work down to a T – This is a very unique car and we sure didn’t see another one at TRAX! If you like this build then follow James on Instagram - @jamesandrew_67
Finally, to our delight – It looks like wide arch kits are coming back into the scene... Very exciting!
Hats off to the guys who ran the event and got it to run as smooth as it did, enjoy the photos guys and if you repost them be sure to tag us – We tried to capture as many cars as possible so keep your eyes peeled guys you might spot yourself!
HIGH QUALITY FULL RESOLUTION PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE £1 EACH
